2nd Grade what a great art year 2021-22

2nd grade started the year inspired by Picasso and Matisse 

They created Fairytale Villains and Rainbow Guitars

Both projects used multiple art techniques 

cutting, collage/layering, watercolor and drawing

Students worked on composition and finding balance

This book really helped set the stage for the projects 
it introduced both artists as animal characters
