About our School

Phoebe Hearst Elementary School is located in East Sacramento. Named in honor of nationally recognized educational leader Phoebe Apperson Hearst this K-6th school offers both a Basic and GATE curriculum. The overall goal of the staff and site directors is to bring together the most successful traditional and new methods of instruction emphasizing academic skills and developing good study habits that will carry on past the doors of Phoebe Hearst. Parental support at home contributes to children’s success in this rigorous program and is a key ingredient to the educational environment of this dynamic campus.
